Business Visitor

Business visitors come to Canada for up to 6 months.

They are those who:

come to take part in international business activities without being part of the Canadian labour market;

• are looking for ways to grow your business;
• invest in Canadian businesses; or,
• advance your business relationships.

To qualify as a business visitor to Canada, you must show that:

• you plan to stay for less than 6 months
• you are not seeking employment
• your main business location and source of income is outside Canada
• you are admissible to enter Canada
• have enough proof of funds to support your stay
